We are committed to shaping our members's professional growth during their time at USC. In this effort, we host several events each semester that consist of our speaker series, workshops, and other helpful resources.
The founders of Camber were my favorite speakers. It was so awesome to learn from two female entrepreneurs, and refreshing to hear very transparently about the struggles of launching a business from the ground up. Also, their app Camber was such a unique concept!
A speaker that I really enjoyed was from the Planning and Culture department at the NFL. As a big football fan, it was fascinating to hear about what goes into shaping culture in the world of sports. She also shared advice on fostering an inclusive and engaging atmosphere in a professional environment.
One of the speakers I appreciated hearing from most was from BCG. It was inspiring to hear about the career path he took from investment banking, to Harvard Business School, to his current role. After this meeting, I was inspired to pursue a career in consulting.
The community and leadership at Marshall Business Network have been a huge proponent to my professional development. Specifically, the LinkedIn workshops and resume workshops have given me the support I’ve needed to pursue opportunities at multiple companies like Accenture and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
